Marusan Soymilk Slices
Marusan 豆乳スライス

On March 1, 2021, a sliced cheese was added to Marusan's lineup. At that time, the product page stated it was the first slice-type soymilk cheese product in the soymilk industry (in Japan). It was also clearly marked that it didn’t use animal ingredients, 動物性原料を使用していません/doubutsusei genryou wo shiyou shite imasen.
The product was renewed on March 1, 2024. The ingredient list appears virtually the same, with the addition of fermented seasoning. Although the product page and package do not state 動物性原料を使用していません/doubutsusei genryou wo shiyou shite imasen, and instead say dairy not used/乳原料不使用, this may just be for marketing reasons.
