Yamazaki Small Kokuto Fukuree is a very sweetened dessert bread that comes presliced. Yamazaki Kokuto Fukuree uses Okinawan kokuto, a traditional brown sugar. According to Entabe, the name 'Fukuree' is supposed to be a unique variation on Japanese words meaning “fluffy.” Per Matsumoto Kiyoshi, it’s a steamed bread that does not use fats and oils and has been on the market since 1987.
